Merge this thread if needs be because I haven’t read the board tbh, not long back home. But just wanted to say 12 months ago I didn’t think there would be a day that topped the Coventry playoff home game, or Wembley. Today however has rose and barged its way to the top spot as the greatest SAFC day ever in my lifetime.

Never, ever saw the town like it was today. Never ever saw the concourses in the stadium like that before. Never ever saw the stands like that before. Whole South Stand seemed to stand up rather than just the upper end where I am and it was magic. South West Corner was tremendous. Every single other stand was tremendous and I could see them at it stood singing arms aloft throughout the match. The display was tremendous. Wise Men Say was the best I can ever remember. Dance of the Knights felt unbelievable. The walk over the Keel Crossing and looking out to our right down our magnificent river and out towards our beautiful coastline felt f***ing brilliant basking in that sunshine.

All those shitty winter midweeks against Accrington, Fleetwood and so on are made worth it for days like this. I stood today side by side with the same lads who along with me endured all those grim as fuck days. It feels a lifetime ago and yet it wasn’t very long ago.

Just in case anyone was in any doubt. This is way, way, way more than just a football club.

Raising a glass to you marra , tremendous post. What an atmosphere today mind . Even up in the PC where we are , it was immense.
Aye mate I could see those up the Premier Concourse going their ends as well, tremendous to see. I wish I could remember the chant but I’m positive chant started from up there as well that spread to the rest of the ground.

We had nothing to lose today and everything to gain. If we’d lost against Coventry it would have been shit. If we lost today it would still have been a great season. We played with determination and without fear. The crowd backed the team all the way.

Turned out to to be an exceptional season.

Premier Concourse crew here, bouncing up there today at times.

Immense all over the stadium. What we have achieved today hasn't quite sunk in yet.

An iconic moment in the history of SAFC, not just since the move to the SOL but our entire history.

Best atmosphere today ever in the SOL.From the incredible noise before the game to welcome the coach, the singing and noise in the concourse, and then the noise when the team came out . But the piece de resistance was definitely how all 4 sides of the ground sang their hearts out for the whole game. It was truly amazing.Buzzing , buzzing , buzzing!!!!!!
