I have to say…

Compare that crap today to us last year and how exciting our match was, even for neutrals. That today was dead on and off the pitch. Ours exciting and electric both on the pitch and in the stands, pure passion. Absolute tinpot them two today. That match today I dozed off twice through boredom on the pitch and the silence of the crowds.

In the words of the great Bobby Saxton. It was fucking Minging that. Boro can state all the excuses they like, but they sold their allocation, hot day, pubs open, huge prize at stake. Absolute sopping fannies, on and off the pitch.

A good 2 /2 hrs of my life I'll never get back.

One of the worst games of football I've watched. Neither side has an attractive style of football or a decent enough squad to offer anything entertaining based on that showing today.

Hopefully both will supplement their squads in the summer otherwise a long season awaits both of them.

Hull will obviously be winners whatever next season throws at them.

Curtis Davies said before the game that boro and their fans should be well up for it after getting a second life, but they were legitimately so flat. Other than when Hackney first came on they were silent as owt

Boro players thought" do you know what "if we win this we're all out of a job next season" , stuff that .

Players must’ve felt like their mam had marched them in and told the EFL to let them play. No surprise they didn’t exactly look like a team on the charge.

The weather would have played some part, I've been in Wembley when its been much cooler than 30c and it felt like a sauna then, cant imagine how horrid it would have been yesterday.

yeah i suppose the english fan always stop singing and chanting when the temp hits 30 degrees.... this must be the reason boro fans were so quiet like

They can have another season in the championship hating us even though we dont give a fuck about them, Hull up, Leeds up so nee derby game but at least they can have another season with them 30 `ultras`behind the goal singing we hate sunland - bless them. Not one shot on target in a play off final is utterly embarrassing.

Two exceptionally poor teams. It is meant to be an advert for giving the underdog second chance. Giving teams who are good enough for the Premier League but through whatever reason couldn’t get an automatic promotion place or indeed the little guy who dreams big. Neither was on show yesterday. The latter is very much closer to the case but still way short. I like to see little guys punch above their weight. Through sheer tenacity and spirit teams that don’t have the money and the class taking the fight to the bigger teams. Hull are the little ones but massively lack in fighting spirit. What I saw of them they didn’t dig deep and battle hard. In the Premier League next season they will be hammered every single week. I just don’t know where a point let alone all three will come from. Because they won’t have bought the best players for their budget.

As play off finals go, that was probably the worst game and atmosphere I’ve ever watched.
All down to Southamptons cheating.
The Boro fans had hardly anytime to prepare, whilst Hull didnt even know who they were playing up until Thursday morning.
Felt for both sets of fans.
