Worked in Billingham, they were all horrible ***** apart from safc lads, a man u fan and even a couple of maggots.

Moved to nunthorpe a few years back. My missus has friends she doesn’t speak to anymore because of how they went on when they met me. Seem to have this view of mackems in general as scum of the earth. I’ve lived and worked in Newcastle and never come across anything like what I’ve had in boro. Weird bunch.

Absolutely…..opposition players are diving, refs hate us, Ipswich always getting the decisions, other teams equalising in the last minute, we never get penalties, our injury list. Never mind teams spying on us….ffs

I wouldn't take it personally, they are nasty with it, horrible. Newcastle fans in Newcastle in my experience it is not nasty it's just a Superiority complex, Geordie Nation, arrogance, Insecurity, tribalism, gatekeeping and I just laugh it off but i rarely, if ever go to Newcastle these days so maybe they are as bad i don't know. With Boro fans in the distant past I've came to blows many times with Boro fans. I had a fight with a stranger in Teesside park shopping because I had a Sunderland away top on years ago and he threw food at me while getting in his car. I had a fight every day nearly in the first 3 years at secondary school lol. They despise Sunderland afc and Mackems, nastiness, festered bitterness and cowardly with it.
 
As were sharing, I knew a couple of lads from Redcar. Not big football fans, lovely they were, mental, but very pleasant all the same.
 
Remember just over a year ago and there were worries on here, when it looked like we'd ran out of steam and were condemned to another season in the Championship, about how strong the Championship was going to be in 2025/26? Wrexham and Brum spending a fortune, EPL relegated teams would be strong.
Not exactly how it turned out.
However, you've got to think Boro not getting promoted today is a massive missed opportunity. Sure there's no guarantee that Wolves, Burnley and West Ham/Spurs are going to bounce straight back but looks like a tough league to get out off next season :D
 
for me im so happy it was a souless crap game they had 2 chances at getting promoted and didnt take them they stay down were they deserve to be
BTW ive not read any comments so this is my opinion if it counts
