Dan Burn or Harry Maguire?

Its a terrible squad ..... Maguire all day long over Burn, Jordan Henderson ???? Whats all that about ..no Palmer or Gibbs White either..i can understand Foden missing out cos he goes missing in big games.. Ivan Toney and Djed Spence ?? Sorry Mr Teuchal but youv'e balls up with your squad
 

Dan Burn for me. Better team player and more commitment. He was trying to stay on the park against us even though in a lot of pain. That's the sort of player I want in an England shirt. North East lad as well. Just one obvious flaw!

How on earth do u know if Dan burn is a better “team” player ???
Trying to play on against us cause he was in pain ? So what ?

Maguire has been slaughtered by every fan, pundit, journalist etc for years and has comeback and proved them all wrong.
He’s played in big games and done well for England.

Dan burn is an absolute liability in all honesty. It’s mind blowing that he’s been picked in an England squad that might need him against France or Spain at some point.

To show my safc bias is not off the scale.
I think Lewis hall should be in the squad.
 
Same profile - big strong lad there to compete against big strikers - except Dan Burn is significantly taller. No fan of Burn especially but we only need one slow, dopey goon in the squad.

Burn as an international CB for a major football nation is a complete joke.
Maguire and his relatives are tossers.

Foden should have went. His goal contributions over his limited game time is brilliant and he offers something completely different to anybody else we’ve taken (imo). Big omission. Some seriously weird selections. Burn, Spence, Henderson could have easily been replaced with Maguire, Shaw, Scott/Foden and the squad would have felt more balanced.

Genuinely think if Foden was any other nationality then he’d be in that respective nations squad.

The squad is seriously wierd.

Burn is too bad on the ball to play well against teams sitting in and too crap at defending to play against france/Spain etc.

Henderson is no longer good enough. Wharton should be going but even if you dont want him there a young players like Scott should be going for the experience before Henderson.

Even as a sunderland fan I think Spence over Hall is an absolute joke of a decision. And I dont think we've picked an actual fit right back. TAA being ostracised is very strange.

Im not a fan of Quansah but he has had a good season.
 
I never cared for Maguire, but between him and Burn, I'd pick him. He's looked solid for a long time. Burn is solid as well, but if you took 15 cm off him, he'd be in Championship
