Because some of the players being left out have absolutely no respect for the manager and are taking a very public huff. Their agents will be on to their mates in the press immediately.

This is very telling mind - no leaks at all under Southgate. Team morale must be shocking - doesn't bode well for a successful tournament at all

Can see why burn has been called up, he won't get a game but I suppose he covers 2 positions at a push, but there are fit left backs and livramento can play either side as cover as well, it seems daft not to take hall and leave burn.The one mag I would have selected.
