Saudi PIF in talks with potential investors

I think that something is the fact the stadium can make decent money on non match days as it would be the Wembley of the North for sure.

What I'd be asking as a mag fan is that if other investors come in then does that potential other revenue go to the mags or does it go to the investors?

Basically Newcastle don't own their own stadium but get free use of it and what they make on match days is theirs. The rest of the time, the money from concerts, International games, many other events etc goes elsewhere.

PIF could then sell the mags if the footy side return is shit but still own the stadium and have NUFC by the balls given they'd only be tenants and PIF still make the money outside of football for many years to come by owning the Wembley of the North.
I'd settle for that.

If, and its a big if, City get done for any number of their 115 charges, the rules on spending will be even more scrutinised than they've ever been. Saudis know this. No more use of his Excellencys private plane. No more over inflated sponsorship deals. And an awful new kit to boot.

It is, they amount they (over)paid Mandy off with valued the club at £1 billion then they’re hoying £10s millions at it every year in share issues or whatever it is to balance the books.

“Austerity” I feel will be the buzz word around NUFC this transfer window
They've already said they're looking for 'value', cheapies and freebies, not even making a pretence of big spending this summer. Buys to be funded by sales.

PIF are becoming increasingly cost conscious across their sporting portfolio and pulling back spending.

They fact they are keeping Howe as they don't want to fork out 2 years worth of payoffs for him and his staff and deals for a new manager and staff on top says it all.

A sure sign that PIF are starting to lose interest in Newcastle as well as several of their other sporting projects.
Happening just a little too quickly for me. I knew it was gonna happen but I wanted to see £350k a week players that they can’t sell before it happened.
I know people say they don’t want to see clubs go bust, but I really would laugh if they did
Can the two London property spivs not stump up a bit more?

Not when Spurs might be a great option next season

The Suadis never have and never will give two fucks about the deluded stinking inbred twats.
They've been bought and used, they no longer need them. The penny will finally drop with the thick fucks.

Do they still use wheelie bins as ice baths?

It would be hilarious if the east stand itself were to be listed. Would stitch up both redevelopment and relocation options.

Inshallah 🤞
Are there any action groups in support of preservation of the shitholes finest old buildings? Maybe RTG could lend its support 🤔

If they bought the whole of Leazes Terrace, which is mostly residential, they could apply to change the use of it to commercial. Residential properties have a certain amount of a "right to light" using the "Manchester" formula etc. However, commercial properties don't have the same rights, or needs for light. Therefore, they can develop the East Stand upwards with little restriction.
Similar to what was going to hinder us if the council built behind the South Stand.

Saw a diagram the other day of their new scoreboard/screens. Literally stuck wherever they can. One seems to be hanging from the roof under the stand... and still not everyone can see a screen. What a shit tip

The council will bend over to change the use of the properties.

They wasted 100s of thousands campaigning against Ashley’s sports direct arena
