Sounds like it’s a done deal with Brentford.

We still need another season or two to establish ourselves. The B clubs still offer a much better shop window for young players.

Brentford and Brighton linked. We should be at least interested, he's looked immense for Klon this season:

If we win on Sunday and get into Europe, epecially if it is at the expense of Brentford who I expect to lose at Liverpool.

We should be allover this guy.

Mate they want 50 million I saw I'll rather spend that on 2 players or even amad

While I get your drift, our most expensive player Diarra has struggled ( not helped by injury and AFCOn absence ) while the relatively inexpensive ones eg Omar, Roefs, Nordi have been immense
Love to see us splurge on a superstar but dont it tbh

Now that's one I'd like to see us be in for. Speaks volumes if Brentford's model has identified him

This isn’t how we have been doing business and I can’t see that changing.

We have either targeted very good but out of favour players at big clubs - Brobbey, Le Fee, Mukiele etc…

Or we have targeted leagues like Belgium for their good quality and highly rated stars - Talbi, Sadiki, Angulo.

I can’t see that changing as we need both quality and quantity this summer so highly unlikely we will spend 50 million on one player.

I suspect it will be 2 to 3 from each of the strategies above and maybe a couple of 5-7 million quid ones for the future like Ta Bi.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see 7 or 8 in.
