Europa or Conference League

get into the conference league

goal 26/27 is to stay in the league and win Europe, qualify for Europa.

Goal 27/28 stay in the league, win Europa, gets champs league.

It's the Palace method.

A trophy is only prestigious because of its history and the clubs who participate. The conference is like winning a participation trophy, the stated reason for starting it was to give small leagues a chance of winning something. For a premier league club it is more of a hindrance than anything else.

What's your point? I could tell you who won the last 10 champions leagues and europa leagues 😂 but aye so you can remember who won this fairly new competition, that doesn't make it prestigious does it?

Let's see how you feel if we are picking up injuries midweek at Zimbru Chisinau or Zeleznicar Pancevo, while we fight a relegation battle due to fatigue. :neutral:

what do we think then?

I've seen loads of posts across various socials from their fans saying they do not want to be in the conference league again...

will their players feel the same? it's possible and I hope so
 
The only thing worth assuming is that they want to win the game, so our attitude should be to be well up for it rather than think they're going to down tools.
