Anyone goint to Sunderland’s secret music festival @hugeweekend? I saw a Facebook reel last week but was far too busy chosing which of 450 bands to see at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton to investigate more. It's 3 days of music Friday to Sunday but no acts advertised. A terrible idea I would have thought but since there are only tickets left for Friday night it clearly has worked - contrast that to Roulette festival that was cancelled recently due to lack of ticket sales.

I can't help feeling that this is only for the people in the know, who are part of the local music scene.

If you saw posts/reels on Facebook and went to @Hugeweekend on Instagram and clicked on Follow then you could see clues as to who is playing. I'm sure the people who thought of this thought they were being very clever.
