Southampton spying compendium thread

The EFL have been exemplary: their rules have stood up, their legal processes have been unimpeachable, and they’ve done a decent job in terms of telling the public what’s happening/will happen. They’ve had to do it all at breakneck speed in order to keep the game on (one of their two biggest of the season). Not everything has gone/will go perfectly but that’s the nature of having to deal with a problem not of their own making in very quick time. Very impressive from Trevor Birch and his staff.

Who needs a Football Regulator, eh?

from listening to a few podcasts, I think there is a precedent for Fifa to get involved and outright ban their manager. There is plenty more in this to come out. What happens if Wrexham come forward? They could have been in the playoffs had it not been for this. It is very suspect that the only games they admitted were ones that made no difference to the final league tables. Absolutely no one believes those are the only games that are effected.
I don't think we've seen the last of the repercussions from Southampton's cheating.

Oh well that's that then, I'd be apoplectic if I was a Southampton fan now, I can see their players issuing legal action anarl. Disgusting business, good luck Middlesbrough👍

The tricky thing for the Bereh fans now is do they even want promotion?

They comforted themselves when we went up by saying it’s soulless selling off your players who got you there and buying better ones. You also win no games and finish with about 10 points iirc.

Do they still feel this way?

👏 Justice. Well done to the EFL.

Let’s have all 3 of us in Prem 🤞 for the banter.

See if they can get 6 easy points off them an arl. FTM

Good to see he's not blaming the EFL or defending the club.
Some of their players will have wage related issues in their contract if they won promotion, plus bonuses etc. They may have a case against their own club.

The top end of the National League maybe?
