Emery

Ive said for years, if I could buy a premier league football club and could have any manager it would be him.

Newcastle had tge same idea, pleased he turned them down.
It was the one and only same Emery who threw our esteemed leader, Granit, under the bus at Arsenal. Arteta’s appointment was Granits’ sliding door moment.

I'm surprised he never gets linked with big jobs at the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Man City.
Struggled at Arsenal and PSG, so is he in that bracket of manager who is "good enough for a team punching above their weight", but the knock on him is that he struggles when success is measured, purely, in league titles and big trophies?

I'm not saying I agree, but suspect that's it.

TBH, I don't think he given much time at Arsenal. He had taken over from Wenger. The atmosphere around the club was toxic, mainly due to their supporters.

But you could right about people looking at that way.
