Mick Beale

I never really disliked him really. It was just obvious from before day 1 that he was out of his depth and it'd never work. The whole club was a shitshow to be fair. The burner account stuff you can sit back and laugh at now but given what we know now, it's not really funny. His head must have been a right mess. I hope he goes on and has a decent career. He's just another to add to a list of Lee Johnson, Phil Parkinson, Chris Coleman, Jack Ross and Simon Grayson that has had no real connection with the fans.

I don’t think he was ever going to be a good appointment but he had little chance, almost universally disapproved of from the start. The burner account stuff was weird and suggests he really wasn’t very well. Hope he’s okay and rebuilds a bit of a career.

People chanting for him to get sacked in his second home game didn't help

To have a burner account over a number of years is nothing to feel sorry about.

He was a narcissist.

One of the most united fronts I've ever seen. Everyone was in agreement about how bad an appointment it was.

Literally everything we warned or were warned would happen, happened. And in record time.
The fact that even the old boys club in the media, who are forever bemoaning the lack of opportunities at big clubs for young British coaches, were saying it would be a disaster suggests that his reputation within the game was toxic.

That said he was on a hiding to nothing from the moment he walked through the door due to the Saudi ticket debacle happening around the same time.
