Southampton spying compendium thread

Considering, Southampton initially sold their entire allocation of Wembley tickets, which were then cancelled, and those tickets have already gone back on sale today, via Boro's online ticketing site, it would be bloody farcical, if Southampton were to be reinstated after their appeal is heard, which would then mean those Boro tickets being cancelled, and given back to Southampton. 🫣

Surely, it's not gonna happen . . . is it ? 🤔
Would be the highest attended game in history

I've got an opinion on this that I haven't heard anyone articulate yet.

If you're having it away and youre two consenting adults you both perform to the best of your ability.

If however one party has asked their mate to spy on you through the window that's a breach of decency.

If however you know they've done this before, how are you supposed to keep your head in the game...? 😂😂😂

Essentially I think it's cheating. Haha

They admitted to Ipswich and Oxford as they lost both and with Ipswich going up and Oxford going down, those games did not have an adverse impact on the table.

If anyone thinks they only did those three then I have some magic beans to sell them.
Think you have totally missed the point of my post. The bloke mentioned Oxford twice….

Yes, ok.

Boro had enough chances to have put the tie to bed by half-time of the first leg mind. Regardless of what else happened in the buildup, they only have themselves to blame for not winning that one.

The game result is essentially irrelevant.

Even if they'd lost they could still have been charged with impropriety (whatever the rules state) essentially cheating.

Still a points deduction possibly for next season?

They should get 1 point deducted for each game they spied upon, it's obvious they did most, if not all, games this season. Get their staff in and offer them immunity from bans if they tell the truth about the full extent of it.

Europe might not have this sense of fairplay and good sportsmanship, but they are sacred to the Britons, along with orderly queuing and tikka masala.

I really hope this is how Boro phrased it in there written submission to the independent commission.
