We will never know...Its football being played out in a court , not on a football field.
We got southampton fans paid out cash ,while their actual club has cheated, through no fault of your Saints fans, they simply pay the price of the ridicule they get from fans like the ones from my own club, that were also sent to rack and ruin due to the ownership of of folk that were supposed to run an institution that was steeped in history and tradition,and simply p*ssed all over it.
Still we will rip the p*ss out of each other, while suffering from a disease that has fook all to do with your average football fan.
Saints fans will be met with sodding "Inflatable " binoculars and ridicule for season upon season...Wednesday fans will be met with having the p*ss ripped for finishing a season with ZERO points, relegation and ridicule by rival fans...Cos thats what we do..Isn't it?
While we do this sorta factional fookwhittery, the sport we all love, the clubs we have followed cos our grandparents and those even before them did....goes to hell in a handcart...simply because...We not only stand for it, we tend to revel in it, and while we , as fans carry doing so... it will continue.
I can cope with chants of "Is this a library"...."Where were you when you were sh*t" ...etc etc etc..but sadly , when push comes to shove, we are oftimes our own worst enemies...and its played upon by prices, players, owners, agents and agendas.....
Theres banter and thats fair enough,,,,its fun, it leaves no bruises, but theres coming a time when football fans of all colours should have a look at whats in written in blue and white, red and white...but mainly it stands out stark in simple black and white...they are taking the p*ss

Interesting though that the only two Clubs other than Boro that they admitted to spying on involve two games that they conveniently lost. I mean they wouldn't have wanted to cite a game that they had won - like Coventry away - one of only two home games that Coventry lost this season. But I am sure that top of the table six pointer was a perfectly legit result. It makes much more sense for them to have spied on relegation strugglers Oxford.

It wouldn't surprise me if a few Championship Clubs are now examining their CCTV recordings around the time of their match with Saints. I have a feeling that Southampton might have been a little unwilling to reveal the full extent of their activities since the end of last year
