Cheated in a knock out tournament, so got kicked out of that tournament. Pretty simple stuff really.

Nothing special I'm afraid, just a huge capacity for custard creams.

That punishment presumably relates to the rule breaches which occurred prior to games in that competition, v Ipswich and Oxford.

Some strong feelings expressed in this thread. I bet fans of Championship clubs feel at least as strongly. Southampton will be despised next season and may find it hard to attract players.

I don’t remember any hatred after our punishment.
We nearly folded though after appealing. Worse now as it has ever been.
