Europa or Conference League


I think that considering our squad is still very thin, the conference league would be best as its such a low standard with some teams that we might even be able to rest players on some Thursdays and still get a result, therefore protecting the Premier league games a touch
 
If I could pick Europa but either will do. Pros for both.

He would be in charge of the group and pitting them against the first team in training and getting team spirit going. Obviously first teamers would play too, coming back from injury and hopefully in the later stages but Luke would retain his spot even if Xhaka played.

The League would still be a massive priority but we could play almost the whole first team for must win games.

Would be incredible League One to Europe, things dreams are made of.

Palace have been nowhere near the Europa League in the decade + we've been in the PL through league position.

Unexpectedly winning the FA Cup got is Europa before we were turfed out. Winning the Conference will get us back to that opportunity, plus a year of experience playing continental football.

Plus it's been more fun being in it than not being in it.

Until the knock outs, teams would put 11 behind the ball and the game was to break them down and try to avoid conceding from a set piece or a counter attack.

A lot of it was turgid to watch until the knockouts, when we had better and more adventurous teams to play.

What we did have issues with was getting a PL result straight after Europe. I think the first team we beat in the league were Newcastle 😂
 
I was reading there is some sort of financial limit in the conference league, can’t remember the term. Is that true and limit spending depending on income i suppose.
