Nightmare Scenario

Nightmare scenario??? Are you for real??

We’re one match away from European qualification for the first time since the League Cup in 2014, and the first time via the league since the Phillips days

Nightmare scenario my arse

This is a gigantic match

But if we lost, I mean cmon what a season

I disagree. Fulham have nothing to play for really - their goal difference puts them out of the running for Europe and their World Cup players won't wanna bust a gut for nowt. Newcastle have put a few good results together and they will beat Fulham, in my opinion. We must beat Chelsea.
Isn't that now the same for Newcastle after the Chelsea result given they've now also got nowt to play for? (apart from finish above us of course)

They've got a few players going to the World Cup also and more than Fulham will have so will they risk that to get above us? Who knows but roll on Sunday!

This 100%.
Nightmare is 3 points from safety, one game to go and it is against the visitors.

Paraphrasing a former manager of theirs " I'd love it if they won at Fulham but we beat Chelski 2-1 , with a 95th minute winner and they still finished behind us"
😂😂😂

Newcastle will be praying that we don't beat Chelsea on Sunday. Their pathetic season all hangs on this - it's literally all they've got to hope for.
How? Am I being thick? The way I read it is, Sunderland need to hammer Chelsea and all other results go their way so they can finish 8th on gd to qualify…. Or am I being thick, in which case, ignore…

I'm hoping that not only the prize of Europe spurs the lads on but the fact they know if we lose the mags finish above us is all they need to bring it home.

We need to win Chelsea for any chance to be in Europe.

But we only need Liverpool or Man U to win for us to get into Europe if we win Chelsea. Both winning however means the difference between Europa or Conference.
