Capable of great things going forward but not quite at the level we needed defensively. Really exciting player though who is quality with both feet will try to make things happen. His game against Leeds had some great moments.

I wouldn't have been against having him as a bench option but he is a big earner and we now have Talbi and Angulo who look like left wing is their best position and will be here next year.

I see Adingra is in the Ivory Coast squad for the WC (he'll be facing off against Angulo for Ecuardor in the first game where it'll be interesting to see how they compare if they both play).

Given Adingra has got game time in recent friendlies and has popped up with a goal I wouldn't be surprised in their recent game against S. Korea then I can see him potentially raising his profile/value at the WC which would help us if we are looking for buyers.

It's a shame he is such an expensive asset to hold onto as I do like a lot of what he offers as an attacking threat, especially if we're chasing a game and needing a goal. You effectively need to use him as a double-edged sword who you know can cost you a goal but could get you one at the other end. We have clearly decided he is surplus though with two other left wingers ahead of him in Talbi and Angulo though.

Wasn't suited to the default style of play this season, but I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility he could make more of an impact if we can add a more front foot style to our range of options next season. Right opposition, right game state etc.

If he goes, fingers crossed for a decent world cup. Always makes for transfer valuation hilarity if someone bangs in a few screamers.
