Early leavers and final whistle on Sunday

We all have to remind ourselves what an incredible season we have had . Not 1 single Sunderland fan could have dreamed of the way it's turned out.

Every single one of us feared the worst and hoped for the best as all fans of play off winner's do.

Yet this season has seen so many highs beyond belief including beating the Saudis home and away being top half for most of the season giving as good as we get in most games. Competing against the very best

IF we don't beat Chelsea and don't make Europe please don't let your emotions run wild and slate the club or players

Our football club is on the up we have owners who are very ambitious we have a unity between players and fanbase that I've not seen for decades and I'm so excited by the future

Can't wait for Sunday and whatever the outcome I will give these players the send off they deserve

Whatever the result on sunday can we all stay behind to give this team what they deserve on their lap of appreciation.

They have been magnifcent this season and deserve a full house on the final whistle

That is all. Have a good day.
Booed off and did the lap of honour to an empty ground last season.

What a difference a year makes.

Reopening the stadium BARS at full-time for a lap of honour is a great way to celebrate the end of a season. To make the transition seamless, align your staff's closing and reopening duties with the players' schedule on the pitch. [ , ]
A smooth, coordinated plan ensures a successful end-of-season event:

1. Timing and Communication
  • Pre-match Announcer: Have the stadium announcer gently remind fans that the players will do a lap of honour at full-time but bars will open.
  • Pitch Incursions: Remind supporters that entry onto the pitch is not permitted. Keeping fans in the stands ensures the lap happens quickly and safely.

Agreed anyone leaving has no business coming back , win, lose or draw

And also to tell the nuggets who block the aisles clapping to stay in their places and not stand applauding in the gangways or aisles - thus allowing those who do want to leave do so.

.... We just need to win against Chelsea and we are in Europe! :)

And in the smaller cup if Liverpool doesn't screw up
