Southampton spying compendium thread

I think they've made the right decision, but my Hull City fan colleague thinks that it gives Boro an advantage as they have been training to maybe play Hull (whereas Hull have been training to play Southampton).

From a loyal supporter who has been on the end of a demotion (1990) and kicked out of a cup competition (this season) the pain and suffering for the Supporters is unforgivable.
You put yourself through the emotion, elation and the cost of supporting your team and then bang, it’s all gone.

This decision was inevitable. Different from Leeds, as that was mid season and rules were not in place.
This is a breach of the rules, same with Swindon and the club is accountable and responsible. The EFL had no choice but to impose a disqualification or else a precedent would be set.

Just spare a thought though for those Supporters who are 100% innocent. The pain is unforgettable. Southampton would have been clear favourites and no doubt Boro will be now.

No way boro should have benefited like that. Hull should have just been awarded the result
They’re not gonna blow they’re big game man, plus you could argue boro were the ones wronged last and in a knockout so right call to put them in instead of Southampton.
