Give it to Hull. They've done nowt wrong and shouldn't be messed about like this.
Middlesbrough can take Saints to civil court or whatever..... although I have a sneaky feeling Boro will get awarded a 3-0 first leg win and Saints get a £500k fine and 15 point deduction for next season.
Looked at the " SaintsMarching " site. They're bleating on about the fact they deserve to be in the final....how they went on a 19 game unbeaten run which shows how good the team and Eckert are.
My question would be.. " How did an inexperienced manager whose previous managerial experience was 4 months in charge of the U21 team ( whose results are average ) become Mr. Fantastic with the 4th best win %age - 62.5% - across all 4 leagues,???? " ( Allegedly ) cheating German tw@t, that he ( Allegedly) is.
The Southampton fans and club seem to feel they're being victimised. GOOD!
And if the decision goes against Southhampton appearing at Wembley against Hull I’ve no doubt that they will appeal against that. This crap may be sorted out by the start of next season, who knows?Boro would have a right to appeal if that was the case. If Southampton cheated and it is proven, it should be a boro win. Over 2 legs they therefore won, and would be owed the chance to play for promotion. As the game is worth over 100m the EFL cant really risk them suing for loss of potential earnings, which any sane club would surely try for
Its like saying ''yeah they cheated, but you lost to the cheat so you are also out. Hardly fair really. Even though Boro really messed up by not taking chances in the first game
