Tommy Watson

Celebrating wildly but still giving him the wanker sign.
Wasn't he just celebrating and shaking his fist? I didn't think he was giving it the old gesture
We can smirk and sneer etc but that move has virtually guaranteed à very lucrative financial future for someone barely 20yo
He could have stayed and gone the same route as Neil, Patterson etc. He could have stayed and got injured.
Sometimes the SAFC specs warp the reality that à pro football career is both short and very fickle
Play wise it hasnt worked..yet, and who knows this is as good as it gets right now
I can’t believe any of us , if it were us or our sons could seriously begrudge what he decided to do, regardless of the urging of Harte.

He can’t get a game at Brighton or Millwall but he would often have got a game with us this season??
Both things are true for me.

Totally understandable for him to take the move when we were in the championship. But until he ends up getting some more regular game time at PL level, there will always be a doubt as to whether - in football terms - it was right to move

don't really blame him for going after the whole thing settled down. at the time he signed the deal it probably seemed the best thing to do. will have gotten a decent wage increase and was going to a premierleague club known for bringing on and improving young players - and then selling them for a fortune to Chelsea.

if he's available for loan then they must still have longer term hopes for him - he's only 20

he'll be a good pickup for pretty much anyone in the championship if they play him regularly

And? So you think he’s signed to one of the biggest football agency’s going, probably paying them 1000s a week and then just does what Ian Harte advises him anyway?
Irrespective, Harte will have had huge influence over the lad - naive to think otherwise. He was, and still is, in a relationship with Hartes' daughter and at the time he moved to Brighton his agent was Danny Graham and not his current agency.

Will he talk to him, almost no doubt and he would be daft not to. 30 odd years in the game 100s of prem games and dozens of international caps. Highly unlikely he is influencing him. Is Keane influencing harwood-bellis? Was Marradonna influencing Agureo or do you reckon you just don’t like Harte? Has he changed agency because the one in his bio on instagram is the one he moved to a couple of years ago and was his agency when he moved to Brighton and on loan to Millwall

The deal with Brighton was signed, sealed and delivered on April 1st, two months before the transfer window opened. It's irrelevant who his agent was on June 1st when he joined Brighton. His agent was Danny Graham at the point of signing. Ian Harte in one ear and Danny Graham in the other. What could possibly go wrong?

His agent on the 1st of April was his agent when the window opened who was his agent when when he moved to Millwall on loan who is his agent now. Just be clear as well technically Graham isn’t a agent, he’s a “mentor” at that agency

For me, its exactly this. It was rumoured to be a guaranteed £4M.

He could look to Embo, who had more England caps at every age group level than Tommy and who is/was playing Conference footy at 26.

Not according to James Copley it wasn't.
Where does that say he has changed agency? It says that the rumour that he is represented by Harte is false (correct) and that he is actually represented by Graham ( kind of technically true) . It does not say he has changed agent
