Still the only team without a win across both divisionsFeel very sorry for Leicestershire, their lead up to the season was absolutely horrific through little to no fault of their own. If I was a supporter I’d be absolutely furious at Rehan Ahmed. It’s not all his fault of course but they’re in a very bad place currently and from what I’ve seen they look miles off Division One standard.
No,he completed Hill's over.Is Harry Brook injured? BBC scorecard has him bowling one ball of an unfinished over.
Looks like Louis Kimber was an injury replacement for Saif Zaib and he's played a blinder.Tense finish at Gloucestershire where Northants won by 2 wickets.
Agree with that apart from feeling sorry for the wicket doctoring kernts.I mentioned on the Durham match thread that the Second Division is very congested, the First is even tighter, with just 20 points separating 1st and 8th.
Nottinghamshire 91
Warwickshire 86
Glamorgan 83
Essex 80
Sussex 79
Somerset 79
Surrey 74
Yorkshire 71
Leicestershire 46
Hampshire 40
Certainly makes for an intriguing summer so with what we’ve seen so far and both divisions are as competitive as I can remember for a long time.
I was disappointed for Somerset that the rain denied them a sure victory today. They had about 40 overs to get 3 Sussex wickets before rain intervened.
Glamorgan are a real success story so far, but as I’ve mentioned earlier; it’s sad to see Leicestershire struggling as much as they are.
But are they any worse than the roads Kent and Middlesex produce!. At least Ciderabad produce result wickets.Agree with that apart from feeling sorry for the wicket doctoring kernts.
Just realised Kent are now 3rd in the league. That's some turnaround.
