Will Chelsea want to win on Sunday?


Their fans will be desperate to make sure Spurs don't secure their survival against them, so i think they'll win midweek, which will mean they could still finish in europa league places.

If EL is up for grabs they might have more fight, if it's just conference league to play for i can see their players putting in a half arsed performance. Mainly avoiding injury before the world cup

Chelsea will want the revenue for match days for starters.

Also their squad size is so big, they'll want any sort of european game to keep their squad happy.

I'm not so sure on either front personally. European campaigns like that can hinder league performance which is where I think their focus will be. Could of course be totally wrong

Is it any better or worse than the world club cup comp?
They have a new coach coming in. Players will want to make an impression. Others will put themselves in shop window
They have some very talented players just they keep choosing basket case managers/coaches ( 6 in 4 years)
We underestimate them at our peril. Sure RLB and Xhaka will be aware

I think it'll be a very very tough game personally.
