Micah Richards' broadcasting career is absolutely bewildering to me. This weekend he was on the BBC's FA Cup coverage, then the whole day on Sky's Sunday coverage.
Why?
It's not his career. He only played about 200 club games, won a grand total of 2 trophies. Played about a dozen games for England - never made it to an international tournament. By contrast, Wayne Rooney played around 3 times as many club games, 10 times as many international games.
And maybe I'm missing something, but he doesn't strike me as a very good broadcaster either. Zero insight, a Soccer AM-standard banter merchant.
Apparently he earns £200k from the BBC alone. Stealing a living.

If you've been unfortunate to see his CBS contribution for the Champions League too, that's even worse.

À lot of ‘respected’ male pundits eg Lynam, Keys have never played football at any level but people listen
Not saying she is good or bad but it isnt and shouldn’t be a gender thing unless it is purely based on pro football
At lot of ex male players( now pundits) never played in à WC tournament eg Micah Richards, but he is regarded as a knowledgeable pundit by many
