Do we REALLY need to sell this summer?

I think there’s been a general acceptance that every summer we’ll sell one, maybe two of our best players to CL clubs and that probably will be the case but..

These lads have only been together for 1 year, the potential of this group is frightening with the addition of 2-3 players and maybe we should be thinking about a real push for Europe and targeting the cups next season.

Keep the squad together for a second season I say. Protect the crown jules. 🇫🇷 🇳🇱 🇵🇾 🇨🇩 🇨🇭 🇲🇿

Seems likely Isidor will be part of that group too, his goals at back end of the season will be bumping his price up. A couple at the world cup would be another boost, although can't see Haiti doing much.

If we were to nick a European place i'd be seriously sitting him down and convincing him to stick around. He would pretty much share the minutes with Brobbey if we get europe. If it's conference league, Isidor would start most (if not all) the initial league phase games

With Enzo in his proper position we play the ball into the channels more. I d keep him tbh.
 
A big part of our 'model' is showing players that if they come here and play well, we'll not stop them moving on to bigger and better things.

So whilst I really hope Sadik/Roefs/Diarra etc all love this place and now want to stay, especially if we win on Sunday, but if they do want to go and the deal works for us, we can't now be seen to be blocking too many realistic moves, as it may have an impact on new signings as well as players already here.
 
Probably don't need to, but there's likely a few who want to be away, of which a couple might be first squad players who we'd need to replace.
But hopefully we can "do a Spurs" and make clubs pay through the nose for them, whilst already having cheap and/or better replacements lined up ready to go as soon as one leaves - leaving us in better shape.

The numbers I've seen for Rooefs are hilarious. Start by doubling, then we can at least take those seriously.
 
to sell like Harrison jones, BA etc, they are not good enough to step up.
Diarra is a bit disappointment from me, i expect him to do better next season. I have a feeling that Diarra suit as a right midfielder and put Riggs as CM. I dont get it. His pace and vision to put a good cross. Diarra play regular for Senegal as a right midfielder.

Give Diarra another chance next season, there's a player in there I think - and one that's quite different to the current 3 first picks.
Unless someone offers daft money, possibly.
