Roefs Save at 2:1

Big money could be put down for him. Let's get the final game won and get into the crazy transfer season. 60 million I reckon.

Love Roefs but if I booted that at the daughter in the garden she would struggle to get out the way. Different to the likes of Kinsky the other week where they reacted towards it.

Get the positioning argument but he is just moving across the goal. Take it all day mind.
Nah I disagree as initially I thought he moved his shoulder when I first saw it. After gif'ing it and slowing it down I can see he actually stands more upright adjusting his body to make himself bigger. He's obviously not getting a hand to it and it's a belting reaction and it was after that his shoulder goes up.

Got himself in the right place thats about all he can do in that situation and hope. If he goes need another starting keeper, he is a major part of our points tally this year making crucial saves in games.

Looked unbelievable from the away section possibly as good as Gordon's against Bolton. Was it that good? Has anyone got any clips of it?
Go you youtube
3 or 4 various length highlights all showing save
It looked like he didn’t know himself going by his expression just after
No disrespect to Gordon but I think Roefs is a far superior GK

The adjustment he makes is what makes the ball go flying away from goal due to the added force. If he didn’t, the ball most likely would have bounced off of him and into the net due to the lower force/speed.

He absolutely meant that save. It was unreal.

I thought he should of come for the cross like he would of done early in the season. If it had gone in I'd of been critical of him.

One of those where you got the luck of the bounce. It just hit him without him knowing anything about it, but if the ball had been 5mm higher, it would have skimmed off his shoulder and flicked into the roof of the net.
Them's the breaks....

People say it was lucky, however having the positional prowess to make yourself big and make sure you're in the right position at the right time is excellent goalkeeping.
It is lucky, but you do make your own luck to a point. Schmeichel was lucky all the time.....

Just watched it again on MotD and bloody hell it's a good save. The reflexes and strength it took is incredible.

If Chelsea really want him in the summer, that save added £5m to the asking price!

Strange they never notice the best goalkeepers always seem to be the luckiest ones!
