MotoGP 2026

Could be on for a fantastic title fight between the factory Aprilia team. Really enjoyed that race today

On the other end of the scale there are quite a few riders in the bottom half of the field who are a waste of a grid slot at this point: Morbidelli, Binder, Rins, Miller and Mir all surely have to be in their final years on the MotoGP grid.

Aye, good race, not sure about the commentators rimming of Martin though, I’d rather Bez won than him.
Blotted his copybook by whining about the prilla virtually from the moment he got on it just coz he didn’t get the Ducati ride.
Those others like you say are just making the numbers up nowadays although they all looked like they could have done better in the past

As is usual I nodded off half way through. Ill watch the replay later on. But agree on miller. Seems to be stuck in reverse nowadays. Can`t even see him making a WSB ride nowadays

And Jorge is going to Yamaha next year. Everything changes next year but who will have the best bike?

And another from the restart, a more regulation first turn incident though
With the amount of medical resources which will be required for Alex and Zarco I think they're better off calling it a day now, that said Martin has been allowed to ride all weekend despite picking up a concussion on Friday morning so Dorna will be happy to race until someone dies.

I really don't understand how anyone thinks that's okay. Madness...

Good ride from Digi in the end, desperately unlucky for Acosta there, good rider him. Bez probably gained the most from his poor weekend.
Fingers crossed for Zarco and Alex M

With Ogura's penalty and both Mir and Bagnaia under investigation for tire pressures there's a real chance that Bez could end up getting 3rd at the end of this. A shitshow of a weekend that F1 would be proud of.

Just read Zarco had his leg trapped between Pecco’s swinging arm and the seat unit, very lucky not to have more serious injuries 😬

I’ve lost friends in bike crashes and too many to trivialise the impact on a human body during a crash.

MotoGP is the safest it has ever been but it is inherently a highly dangerous sport and the lads who ride these bike are unbelievably talented.

I hope all those injured recover swiftly and fully.

Martin taken to hospital after yet another crash in the post-race test. Maybe allowing him to ride concussed all weekend from Friday morning sustaining 5 crashes in 4 days (albeit he was totally blameless for the Fernandez incident yesterday) might not have been a fantastic idea.

The MotoGP medical staff still seem to be stuck in the 1970's when it comes to assessing rider fitness.

Zarco has been released from hospital.

"We're still waiting the results of the tests,” says Zarco. “I have a neck brace, but it is irritating me more than anything. It's mainly my knee; the ligaments, but my femur isn't broken. I have a small fracture at the bottom of my fibula, outside of my left ankle. I'll keep you updated, but I just wanted to reassure you. More scared than hurt, let's say. I'll be sleeping tonight at the hospital as they want to keep me under observation, and then we'll see."

The LCR team then confirmed on Monday afternoon that he had been discharged from hospital and would continue his recovery at home in France, where he'll work with knee specialist Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cotte in Lyon from Tuesday. After that, there'll be a plan put in place to determine the next steps of his recovery.

Great news and let’s hope he is back on the bike soon.
Alex Marquez has had surgery which went well. He has been pictured sitting up in bed smiling.

He too will head home to recover.
