Luke O'Nien

I saw him at South Shields fair with his daughter last Sunday. I'm not the type to bother well known people, especially when they're with their kids, but plenty did stop him for pictures. He had time for everyone. Not many characters like that in football these days.

Human beings are ridiculous…they will argue to the end to hold on to their previously espoused views. Luke O’Nien has been a successful first team player at every level of the English game, rising to the occasion whenever asked but people who wrote him off years ago refuse to admit it
Completely agree. People have been writing his football career obituary on here since the days when posters were saying Maguire and McGeady were taking his dinner money off him. He'll play at least 50 premier league games for us before he's done.

He’s the kind of player that people used to be buzzing over the potential about when we got relegated under Moyes

“We can reset with loads of young lads that want to play for us!!!”

Then end up hating him ffs
