As they say “ I’m Spartacus “And me
Why would he be in a bottom half team? He was a regular for us when we won promotionCan't see him having many takers at 31 tbh.
He's pretty much nailed on a coaching role here, so I wouldn't risk that for a season in the bottom half of the Championship if I were him.
Completely agree. People have been writing his football career obituary on here since the days when posters were saying Maguire and McGeady were taking his dinner money off him. He'll play at least 50 premier league games for us before he's done.Human beings are ridiculous…they will argue to the end to hold on to their previously espoused views. Luke O’Nien has been a successful first team player at every level of the English game, rising to the occasion whenever asked but people who wrote him off years ago refuse to admit it
There you are you see. That's typical.I saw him at South Shields fair with his daughter last Sunday. I'm not the type to bother well known people, especially when they're with their kids, but plenty did stop him for pictures. He had time for everyone. Not many characters like that in football these days.
He’s the kind of player that people used to be buzzing over the potential about when we got relegated under MoyesHuman beings are ridiculous…they will argue to the end to hold on to their previously espoused views. Always feel like he’s so fit and looks after himself so well that he could easy have 6 years leftHes only 31. Won't be retiring anytime soon to take a coaching role. Not sure why people keep thinking he will.
He has years left

31 is no age, not as if he’ll slow down cos he wasn’t fast anyway. And he was consistent for us last season, sure some top end champo clubs would welcome himHe's 31, and wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea at CB, coming in at 5'10.

Is he leaving ?I guess we'll see.
Is he leaving ?
Hope not
I think he'll be managing us within 10 yearsI was saying that I wouldn't if I were him. He has a future at the club outside of the playing side.
To be honest, I hope it's not with us .Always feel like he’s so fit and looks after himself so well that he could easy have 6 years left
