Southampton spying compendium thread

The way boro have acted has been a disgrace imo. Trying to intimidate the EFL at every step of the way to get a decision that suits them. Leaking what is basically confidential evidence to the press. Demanding they be involved in the hearing that they have no right to be involved in. Not getting their way there and then trying more intimidatory tactics with this press release.
Manager crying in the press conference

They knew from the start they wouldn't get past Southampton and saw an opportunity.

Just promote Hull if need be

That’s the logical outcome, Southampton deserve t be punished Boro would find it hard to prove they were affected in a detrimental manner when they played as well in that first half as they have in months.
If Tommy Conway wasnt rubbish they'd have been about 3 goals up

For all the cries of 'we don't care about little old Boro', there's a lot of people on here showing their true colours and displaying a lot of bitterness.

There is hundreds of millions on the line mate, I'd sell me nan.

It's getting harder to get out of that league, not only competing with the parachute clubs, but moneybags like wrexham and birmingham.

Gibson will claw at any chance he gets to recoup the fortune he's spent on them.

The majority are of the opinion that Southampton should be kicked out of the playoffs.

But I’m sure you know that.

There’s no way the spying has meant Southampton have won the tie
I wonder if nice guy Gibson would be happy enough if Hull were to just be promoted then?
Or is he just wanting another go at getting up
The way he shamelessly kicked Derby while they were down shows what type of bloke he is

It’s a topical football discussion that’s trending
Most are in favour of backing Boro up
We all should know however if the shoe was on the other foot and it was us in this position Your lot would have zero sympathy

No you wouldnt. But ultimately you're right in that the gulf is so great clubs become beyond desperate for that pot of gold. Particularly a club like boro who's wages exceed revenue and will have to cut back next season if not promoted. Will definitely lose hackney and maybe others.

I think boro need to be careful and realise they also were poor in the 2nd leg which Southampton didnt spy on.

Dictating to the EFL for their own shortcomings is not the way. Ive lost a bit sympathy after that statement
It's got nowt te dee with the 2nd leg...

Would you expect SAFC to just...give in?
