Southampton spying compendium thread


The panel are meeting today aren’t they, but they’re saying Tuesday deadline as would expect Southampton to appeal which would mean it going to a separate panel.

With the evidence that will have if they do charge them, if they do appeal then they should increase the punishment, points deduction for next season. Would literally just be appealing to delay it all to make it more awkward

Hackney plays because he’s had extra time to recover/train -arguably the best player in the division -so Hull “ suffer” again ? ( Boro rightly so would love that -I would if I was them ) but is it fair in the one team who has won through already ?
Someone made a good point -when they made the rule around “ spying “they should have attached what the punishment was

Southampton had more set piece goals in 20 games than anyone else other than Coventry in 46 and it’s reported that there are people saying they have been spying for that period it makes you think

Feels like it was, and feels like when ref pulled managers then the Southampton one was more or less saying so fuck. I actually thought at the time that he was, but never knew the stammer bit, if true

I think most would be the same if it was hull doing it against Millwall. Would it be as big maybe not as boro are a regional team. I think people are just sick of all the cheating and bollocks in the game so want it sorting.

The whataboutery from saints fans is pretty funny on social media, loads screaming Man City 🙈 well they’re fighting the case, it’s also a different body being the premier league. That’s like knocking on the door of Nissan factory blaming them for your bmw engine breaking down.

The efl are in a right position, they’ll be facing a court case whatever comes down from the independent body. What a mess man, the media like Talksport will be loving it as everyone as this thread shows has an opinion on it.
