When did bale single handedly win Real Madrid the champions league twice?
The one against Liverpool, two goals, one of which was considered the greatest ever CL Final goal.

I must admit I misremembered and thought his solo goal against Barcelona was a CL final but it was a domestic Cup Final.

He was very good in the final but he definitely didn't win them the CL "single-handedly"; he only played half an hour.

They had to get there in the first place and were massive favourites; they were better all over the pitch than Liverpool.

Liverpool had Karius in goal , lost Salah early on.

Real Madrid also had Ronaldo, Benzema, Modric, Kroos; some of the best players ever to play the game.

It was 1-1 when he came on and scored 2 goals, one being an overhead kick and the other from outside the box.

Seems popular

I'm not his biggest fan, but 40+ goals and being consistently booed is mental.

It would never happen in this country - ever. The closest I can think of is when there was debate over whether Ronaldo was holding Man United back, and the media were showing clips of him suggesting his ego was too big, but even then United fans loved him.

If Liverpool were smart they'd go all in for him. But, he will end up staying at Real Madrid. All he needs to do is to win a champions league and he will win them round

I'm not arguing that he had a big influence, I just don't think he won it single-handedly when he was playing on one of the strongest club sides of the past 30-40 years.

The one from outside the box was a Lee Camp-esque error.
