Mbappe

Why is it that so many world class players turn out to be not so nice and seemingly difficult to work with?
Got to be an element of people around them. You can have genuinely world class players that have a bit of arrogance & belief in themselves, but if it turns into them thinking it’s all about them & not the team you’re in trouble.
True.

Barry Bannan being the exception..😀
Not his lass though

Mbappe probably hasn't helped himself but the Real fans are morons. Look at the way the way they went on with Bale who single handedly won them a couple of Champions Leagues.

Great player but can't help but feel either his ego and/or advice has led him down alleyways and avenues.

I suspect, as others have suggested, he'll get a payday at a shit show like Chelsea or off to Saudi.

The rising obsession with the Ballon d'Or doesn't help. Since Ronaldo/ Messi is seems that some players seem to think the club honours are just a step to get up the individual rankings. Also, with the Gulf influence some players now have a realistic opportunity to become billionaires and have actual Global power which is not exactly likely to make people humble

Where does he go from here? I’ve just put the back end of the Real Madrid game on and every time he goes near the ball, he’s getting absolute pelters.
Does he try to win them round or who else could afford him? I can’t see any Premier League clubs wanting to take him on. A good World Cup would obviously strengthen his position but would anyone want to pay that sort of money for what appears bad news?
Saudi mate...

Don't follow Spanish football. What's he done like for them to turn on him?
It's a mixture of Real going trophyless since he arrived and seemingly getting better results when he's out of the team (despite his impressive individual stats), plus some media shitstirring that he's probably not doing any favours for himself by contributing to.

Hard to understand where he’d go without some huge compromise. I’m guessing he’ll be the highest paid player in the world? So somebody’s got to gamble with huge money to take a player that appears to cause problems when he’s around. Doubt PSG would want him back.

The Saudi money doesn’t sound as if it’s free for its vanity project much longer.

A decent club would be either reckless or taking a huge gamble.
Not sure if he's still fighting psg over a loyalty payment of something daft like £80m from when he left there
Saying that I've love to see him in the prem, but between massive wages and a tendency to have fall outs he's a massive risk

Pretty sure that’s all cleared, he got €60m off them beginning of this year as PSG said we can’t be arsed fighting anymore so just take the money after they lost in court.

Fair play as I’m sure he doesn’t have a traditional agent and his mam does all his financial affairs. I imagine his Madrid contract is heavily in his favour too.

I wouldn't have said any contract is heavily favoured towards him, the clubs were more than happy to offer the terms so its a mutual agreement, and as long as he holds up his end of the bargain he's entitled to it.

I may have worded it wrong for you, I’d say he holds more cards entering into both the PSG contracts and Madrid so he will have made less sacrifices than the clubs. All are mutually agreed but him being in such a strong position has resulted in him getting better deals which of course he’s 100% entitled too as long as he does everything required within that contract.

When did bale single handedly win Real Madrid the champions league twice?
