Bottles for the Campbeltown festival. I tried the Arran at 28 & 29yo at various tastings and it’s a banger.

Kilkerran 2018 Triple Distilled 70cl 56.1% Single Cask Bourbon Barrel

Longrow 5yo Chardonnay 3.5yrs Bourbon, 1.5yrs Chardonnay

Hazelburn 2009 Sherry 49.2%

Springbank 1995 30yo 47.8% 50% bourbon - 35% Sherry - 15% Rum

There was a post on the Whiskybroker website earlier today which has now been deleted advertising a couple of temporary jobs this Summer accompanied by a photograph which suggested that some more bottlings may be on the way.
 
I've not taken to the 'smuggler's cut' marketing idea.

I'm not keen on the 50cl bottles. I hope they go back to the old releasing style.

If the bottles were 70cl but priced accordingly I may have been tempted with the odd one

Their delivery ( for one or two bottles is just a bit too steep as well) others manage to do it for £4-5 quid.

You can store your bottles for later delivery or collection though. I got 16 bottles delivered for about a tenner on one occasion.
 
Just had a glass of Aldi’s Japanese whisky “Tenjaku”. About £22.50 for the 700ml bottle. After taste is of shredded wheat. Quite pleasant.
