Am I blind or is Alderete missing from that preliminary Paraguay squad? :eek: I assume it’s wrong or a mistake since he was their player of the year or something recently.

They do but some of them are massively off form.

Neymar must be well past his best now.
Richarlinson has been shite most of the season.
Martinelli is good but seems to have dropped off a bit.
Jesus is injury prone and can't score goals.
Antony, no idea what he's been like for Betis but awful for Man U.
Pedros form been hit and miss.

Still though Vinicius and Endrick very good players. Thiago and Rayan had a good season. Ain't seen Raphonha lately but he was very good as well. Cunha good player.

Imagine a few of that top section I mentioned won't be getting on the plane.
 
That Luiz Henrique who plays for Zenit is class. This will be a big showcase for him and will likely end up at one of the giants.

Oh I don’t doubt that, I guess we will see who wins it. I am backing the United States myself, not that I think they are good enough, it’s just well, it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world put it that way.
