Stadium of Light is a Modern Ground DONE RIGHT

It was well planned for future expansion, and the lower bowl being below ground is a clever cost saver

The acoustics are poor

Class videos like that show other views of the game than the TV angles.

That Brobbey chance at 27 mins man! What skill from Le Fee to control the ball and lay it on a plate for Brobbey. Just a sickener didn't put it nearer the post than he did.

I find if I’m in the north stand, I can’t hear the south and vice versa. Impacts the south stand/away fan relationship

When the entire ground is blasting, it’s good. But it’s rare
Aye, fair enough I hadn’t thought about it that way. When it is blasting though or everyone’s shouting ‘go on’ in unison the acoustics sound great to me, but I’m nee expert.

Yep. When the away fans first moved I sat in the West Stand at the time. Some games I'd hear the South Stand, some games I'd hear the away fans but never both and if I could hear one I usually couldn't hear the other at all. But if I looked left or right I could see both singing.

I'm in the South Stand now and rarely hear away fans - probably only Everton, Man United, Liverpool and a couple of others this season. I was late getting into the Villa game and could hear "Villa, Villa, Villa" for ages walking up to the ground but silence as soon as I got in.
