Club up for sale?

Didn't claim there was. But somebody who has contact with sources at the club day to day thinks its true and will become a talking point.

Some on here took their statement as a denial, which it just wasn't.
Like Smith’s work but I don’t think the article infers any more than we did on here: it’s no denial but a denial would be difficult at any time, and if there is any truth to it we don’t know how many or whose shares are for sale.

Some people on here said it was a denial though.

Agree on the 2nd point but that's why its interesting and a talking point.

KLD said this season he plans on being here for a long time so doubtful, maybe Sartoris shares are up for sale?
Sartoris, or a small amount of KLDs or both - I think it is much more likely that they get in more investment, essentially make back the money they put into the club, and continue to do what they are doing than just sell the whole thing. I just don't see that. It is clear KLD wants to be in football, so where would he go that is a better opportunity than here right now?

Good article from Phil Smith. Seems to think its true but shouldn't impact at this stage.
Would they go through this if we were looking to offload some of juans shares?. Not sure how they’d do it if this would be the way it went. I can see juan looking to tap out and cash in soonish tbh. He always seemed someone that was in it as he saw a chance to flip a profit.

Interesting Jeff Brown brought this up unprompted on the haway the podcast today. 'Wouldn't be surprised', 'perfect time' etc.

Hopefully it doesn't happen and the report the other week was more about investment.

When we are talking about seriously rich people 'investing' in clubs it won't really happen unless they get 51% and then its a takeover...with kld 65% and Sartori 35% I dont think are going anywhere...billionaires will want control, and if they dont get majority then Is it really worth it for them?

The question is whether the owners are wanting to sell. Which is what the original report claimed.

Who knows how the mind of a billionaire works, but looking at the scenes and what they’ve done, would you want to walk away at this point? Most things point to it being just the start of the next era for ‘the project’.

Randomly spoke to an ex teammate of Granit Xhaka at the weekend who had spoken to him recently, and of course I asked. He said he was so surprised when he signed for us, but as we’ve heard, Xhaka is here as he liked the project as they call it, I don’t think he would be here if he had not seen a good plan. Oh and that Granit was loving life at SAFC, which I think we know, but was nice to hear from someone who knows him.

There's a very out-of-the-blue report that the club has been offered to investors:

Already denied by the club, but have to wonder if there's anything behind it. I always wondered if KLD might sell shares after promotion tbh
As owners, KLD and Sartori will do for me

Let's hope that article is just what it looks like... click bait
