I've not watched Burnley too much this season, but I've seen him miss the kind of sitters that would have him hung on here!

Wilson would have more goals than him if he'd have played as many games.

It's a no from me.

Aye but probably not because of a guy who's scored 4 more goals than our top scorer. By similar logic, would there be no interest in the likes of Bowen, Fernandes or Summerville should West Ham go down?
 
Came on against us at the SOL and did nothing but foul every time he went near a Sunderland player.

He's shite- file him away with David Nugent, Michael Ricketts, Roque Santa Cruz and Michu.
 
Why do I keep seeing lots of threads about why don't we sign x bottom 3 player or who would you have from bottom 3 teams

We did this last time under Bruce/MON and look how it generally played out.

Should stay well clear as they will command higher fees and wages from being PL standard players.

Signing PL players has it bigger risk that they won't perform the same for another PL club.

At least with signings from abroad the outlay and wages invariably won't be as high.

I'd be surprised if we sign anyone from the PL.
 
We need a natural finisher, a Defoe/bent/Phillips type, we don't create much so we need our 1 on 1s to be converted

You said this previously your still wrong and thankfully the club don't follow your mindset.

Can you give me any recent example that have be signed from relegated teams and done well?

Even then when there's 75+ players each year from relegated sides if one singular player does well tells you in the main they aren't good enough.

That's really the only thing I can see us doing in terms of signing from PL sides.

But imagine we'll be looking to steal 20/21 year olds from academies as opposed to first team squad.
