Angulo Elbow

Was a clear red but daft how much MoTD went on about it - it was inconsequential to the result. They didn't even show the Brobbey penalty incidents.

Very surprised it wasn’t a red but why are people, particularly United fans and pundits, completely ignoring what Martinez did to Brobbey?

He hit the player on the arm and it glanced off it and ended up hitting his neck, compare that with the half nelson on Brobbey and there's no way it was a red OR yellow card.
This all day, if you cannot get a penalty for handball if the ball comes off another part of the body first then if a arm gets diverted after hitting another part of body then surely it's the same thing. No red

If only they gave no fouls like the way they give no pens the game be miles better

This.
It was very silly.
Not aggressive.
BUT, if he had gotten a red, we could have no complaints.

Fernandes is a proper tart for acting on the way that he did though, as if he’d taken a haymaker from Mike Tyson.
What a minge.
This. I wouldn’t have put it down as violent conduct however players need to be smarter. Give the Ref a decision and there is a chance it goes against you.
Bruno going on like he does is, just like diving, part of the game now. I would call it cheating. Media would probably go with “having felt contact Bruno is entitled to go down”, “Bruno used his experience” or “Bruno won the Free Kick”. It is part of the modern game. Bruno is very good at it.

Angulo looks quite an angular player

All arms and legs

I like it

Looks tricky to defend against as shown late in the game when he robbed their full back down in the SE Corner chasing a lost cause and emerged with the ball and created a chance

Does anyone know if Bruno is ok?
That impact must have really damaged his face, I'm amazed he was able to get up and carry on twisting so quickly.

I thought he would go when the VAR was reviewed mind. Looked like nowt to me but the game these days... gone...you can't fart next to an opponent without them screaming as if they are having their finger nails pulled out.

Right fannies.

The intention was there but it wasn't a direct red card IMO. However man u fans, msm pundits are implying we have bullied them, and are highlighting it to use as some sort of excuse to try to justify them being second best all afternoon which is plain ridiculous...

I think VAR let him off the hook because they let that Man U player off the hook for making contact with Brobbey’s face.
