Would you swap Sadiki for Amad?

Amad got schooled today by an experienced defender. He's still far from the finished article. He's a good player, but when we had him, he was playing beneath himself, so to speak. There has to be a head/heart conversation about where his real potential lies, and if it's really so much higher than what we already have.

I must be the only one that would say no to amad, now that's not to say I don't rate him because I do and I wouldve been happy if we had signed him properly after his loan deal but I think we have a special talent in ta bi, not that we've seen much of him but just got this feeling about him for next season

Xhaka just doing the perfect standing tackle against him shows that Amad has a lot to learn.

I'd love him to do it with us tbf

Good post. Talbi might be better than him, he's certainly quicker for a start.

Maybe I have asked the wrong question and I am in full agreement with everyone who rates Sadiki highly.
I'm trying to make the point that, whilst we won't sell Sadiki cheaply, it would not surprise me at all to see big clubs making eye-watering bids for him.
If we got a decent offer, I'm sure we will not stand in Sadiki's way.
I'm not suggesting Amad as a Sadiki replacement, but assuming we buy another central midfielder (which I think we will be doing), would the return of Amad be welcomed?

No Sadiki is integral to how we play and Amad has had a poor second half of the season.
Sadiki is a centre mid who cannot score a goal. He is integral to us not scoring.

All the talk about we are not clinical enough. He will never be clinical. 1 league goal in his career and none for us at all. Wise up and replace him with a goal scoring midfielder.

Claude Makele scored 2 goals in 144 games for Chelsea, but played a massive part in their success.
I realise Sadiki plays a more advanced role, but who cares if he hasn’t scored - the answer is to sign a couple more attacking players who will
