Club up for sale?

Pretty obvious why its a hard and fast approach to increasing the revenue.

Who?
Aye will look good to potential investors, look at us generating over £200m in revenue in 1st season back and claiming to have 10k waiting buy season tickets. KLD and Sartori would make serious profit if they sold now.

Nailed on they're trying. Value won't go up too much more unless we achieve stuff.

These sort of reports on a pay wall website won't just make shit up imo. Would love to see the 'material available to investors'.

Not sure he'd have the money now we're in the big league. Think they were talking about 50M last time Fulwell73 were interested. Probably looking at 5 or 6 times that now.

I'd still prefer a MLF owner to a hedge fund or nation state, even one with some questionable opinions.
Mates with Beckham though who has the name to attract investment

KLD made it clear it wasn't happy with the walkers after 30 minutes during the Forest game.

Wonder if his love for the club disappeared after that.

Agree with who ever said this is worrying mainly because we've lost some good people recently like Dave Bruce to be replaced by mates of KLD. So if he goes, do they?
Nah mate he saw the pink slices and the ftm not piped right and thought you knarr what im done.
Im smelling a mag wum, noticed a pattern of the posts always seem to be negative towards fans. Bisssssssto.

Finished higher in the Bob Murray/Reidy days, even Steve Bruce had us in top ten position.
Aye but the Reid era was finished as soon as Quinny's career was, whole team was built around twatting balls up to him.

The Bruce era the club was spending money it didn't have, and even that 10th place finish we jumped up about 5 places on the final day.

Nowadays we have quality all over the pitch, young players worth at least what we paid for them and no money worries.
He’s a smart young, very wealthy young man who understands the business of football. His fellow major shareholder is also very wealthy and his father in law is a Putin confidant. These are not starry eyed jumpers for goalposts aficionados.
I don't disagree. He's here probably for money and legacy, it's better than sportswashing or ego.

Very very fine line between ego and a legacy imho
All I know if he is successful and makes a quid then the chances are so do we

Where did KLD say that? Not having a go at you, but someones “love” for the club doesn’t go because fans walk out early when the team is getting walloped by Forest. Every club has early leavers, it’s not something exclusive only to us.

He knows he’s loved here. Comes to every game. If he was disconnected to the point of wanting to sell, he wouldn’t show up (like Chansiri or Leicester’s owner). KLD was the architect behind convincing Xhaka to come here who he, RLB and Ghisolfi bang on about KLD’s project for the club. Chairmen who want to sell don’t do pre-match interviews on Sky Sports outlining the clubs transfer plans.

This all might be Sartori trying to sell his slice. It might be KLD looking for further investment with our stock being high, remember that only recently we sold an 80% majority stake in the lasses team to further bolster our clubs investment. It makes no sense to sell right now before our 2nd season when we have a REAL opportunity of becoming an established PL club.

Over the span of a month we’ve had reports RLB’s gonna get the axe if we don’t reach Europe, club denied it. Now there’s reports KLD wants to sell, again club denies it. Some Mag bastard is having you all on with these reports like.

Not really, he's made material improvements to the stadium and academy, as well as making every decision with the long term interest of the club a priority. That's legacy.

Ellis Short threw loads of money at players, trying to be a hero, while actually knowing he was saddling the club (and himself tbf) with a massive bill to pay. That's ego.

I hope and pray that we're not up for sale. The phrase 'better the devil you know' is definitely applicable here.

I know how investment funds work and they have one single goal and that's ROI, not 'we believe in this club'

Looking at the Newcastles, Forests and Uniteds of the world, I hope that our current owners stick around for a while yet.

Bruce hasn't been replaced.

Hmmm 🤔

Think it's unsurprising at this stage if they have ambitious plans, which everything tells us they do, for them to seek additional outside investment. KLD and Juan Sartori are unlikely to have the resources to fund it so to me this is not unexpected, but I'd assume it's not an exit but to sell a stake.

The shape of the response is consistent with that. And tbh if this was a totally nonsense story from a ridiculous source I don't think the club will have seen fit to issue a statement
