Before people just rubbish it, it's worth thinking that you don't regularly hear in the media about clubs being out to investors. What's to gain by making it up?

The site is also behind a paywall so its not to get click revenue. Theres a very real possibility that this 'material available to investors' does exist.

I'm hoping they're staying. Bad owners are far more common in English football than good ones, last thing I'd want is some clueless yank conglomerate like the idiot who ran us last time in the PL.
