They do overall, but it isn’t a patch on the old BBC coverage. That was worth tuning in for the 90 minutes before the race more often than the race half the time. Crofty in particular is shocking in his lack of knowledge though - for someone who spends so much time in the paddock among these people. And his max-arena wing crack was lifting too last race
 
For me the pre show is too long and has too many pre recorded segments.

I would like more technical stuff but I realise the teams are not going to allow that level of access.

I used to buy Autosport magazine and the tech stuff at the time was amazing.

I would love to discover more in depth stuff about the aero and engines and sensors.

Agreed, although I do wonder if it will need ferrari to reconsider their turbo fan dimensions for next season, they'll be slightly disadvantaged i would assume with more ice % input?

I mean, you don't get quicker starts than everyone else without some negative in another area. You don't get something for nothing....

Im just thinking that if the ice is doing more heavy lifting, whether this will negatively impact ferrari more, certainly it would be typical ferrari for it to.

Getting his gear on now to jump in the car. Sky Sports are live streaming it on YouTube, been watching it from the start until I head out later for the 5K run in town.

Rain inbound now with them all on dry tyres. Much better racing than the modern day F1.
Has taken the lead. Top 3 within 3 tenths of each other fighting for position.
I’ve just turned it off, he’s 25 seconds ahead of 2nd :lol:

Shame most F1 teams dont let drivers do more of this when its not a grand prix weekend. Always great to see the drivers in other catergories. Alonso and Norris at Daytona was a great watch. Always use Norris' night stint at Daytona as the example of how great an all round driver he is. Stole the show as a literal child. Would love to see him, Max and Alonso in a car for Le Mans.

I just watch the practice / quality / race don't watch any build up or post event interviews.

Try this for the basics on aero, yes it's about planes but gives you principals in easy to understand format.
