Xhaka on RLB

On Le Bris, the quiet head coach, Xhaka adds: “He’s very special. The first call that I had with him, it was exactly what I was hoping he is. He’s a football freak in a positive way. He looks very deep, the details, as well with the ball, without the ball.

“I call him like a second Arsène Wenger. I went to him already about the mindset, how he can be so — not relaxed — but very calm, so you don’t see him screaming. He’s always under control and this is maybe for my future. He gives me some advice which is very helpful.”

Well he’s hardly going to come out and say RLB is a dullard or such like
RLB has done very well to keep us up. Mission accomplished
I’d say the modern manager is very much in same mould
Intense, devoted, workaholics
I’d say RLB should be uttering similar levels of praise for Xhaka because without him we would be down

Is he a dullard ?

Anyone got the full article to post?
I heard he says something about managing Sunderland, not sure.
This the link:

Honestly I hope he retires with us then becomes manager.

Its a pipe dream but imagine.

I suspect that was the intention and part of the reason why he signed here, wether nor not it happens remains to be seen.

Id like to see him as manager one day here but just because he is a great leader it might not mean he will be a great manager so while RLB is doing a good job their is no reason to change things yet.

@brisbanemackem does not like this

I’ve just read the article as I subscribe to the times but it’s behind paywall so not sure how to share the link but I know some people manage to do it sometimes.

He says his wife loves the area and his kids and loving school here wand she doesn’t want to leave, even though she didn’t want to come initially. This bodes well for us.

Xhaka is still as fit as a 21 year old.

He could, I hope, still do another two seasons with us yet.

Yeah I follow her on insta, just did it being nosey really and you get that vibe. She is always out for walks with the kids either in the parks or on the beaches. Seems to love Seaburn.

She promotes local business on her insta stories too. Pleased she's settled here then. His daughters are gonna end up with Mackem accents ha

The north east especially for those with money is an absolute unreal area to live. We have everything bar the weather in reality again for those with money. I bet the can’t believe what they get for their coin up here.
