Tchouaméni knocks out Valverde

The ambience in Madrid, socially and politically, is always highly rarified. And, as we all know, Madrid are not gracious losers. In that respect, Barça are a much more dignified club, as I am sure @chunkyshanhawk53 would agree.
Evening fella.

Historically I absolutely agree.

They’ve converged hugely in the last decade, some of the Barca antics have been pathetic (be it not paying players, paying referees, or some of the sponsorship stuff).

It’s funny watching Madrid implode, I think we agree on that

The two players had been arguing all day about some incident and Valverde had made a series of hard challenges during the training session. Once in the dressing room Tchouaméni punched Valverde, who was left unconscious after hitting the floor. He was taken to hospital.
Rudiger did the same to Alvaro Carreras the other day, while it has been reported that Bellingham and Mbappé nearly got into a fight a week ago.
Not a happy place.
Bellingham giving Mbappe a clip  Good job his parents will have been able to intervene.

Kylian!! Stop itttt!!

And lose the transfer fee? Don’t be silly
If he is sacked for gross misconduct they still get a fee if someone signs him don't they? I'm sure we got paid for N'Dong and Djlilibodgi.

A fraction of a regular fee though I'd guess like.

N’Dong get sacked? Thought the daft noodle heed was realised after a couple poor seasons?

Papy, sacked? Thought we just cut the loss after he went AWOL?
Who were the egos in that team?

There was only really Ronaldo.

The rest were world class players but weren’t absolute bellends
Which specific team are you alluding to? I’ve said Carlo as he’s The Don.

Galacticos would have been egos. Just because we didn’t have social media to allow every Tom, Dick and Harry to see it, doesn’t mean managers back then wouldn’t have had to sort daft crap like this out

Both sacked for breach of contract and 'comprehensively' failing fitness tests.

Could be wrong but I'm sure I recall seeing clubs were put off them for a while as they had to pay us a fee if they signed them.

Barça have never converged in any way with the Madrid filth. They are the complete antithesis. Barça's failings are Madrid's virtues ( economy) and vice versa (philosophy of play).
However, Barça have one thing that both you and I envy - La Masia - and a seemingly endless ability to produce homegrown stars.

They have converged fella. The moral high ground that Barca occupied 30 years ago has evaporated with various levels of shitcuntery
