Guess it's me, Reinaldo after losing possession just seems to meander back. Not running to try to block or tackle, the cross comes from his position far too many times but other SAFC defenders get the blame for the goals.mukiele and aldarete in the middle. reinaldo and hume full backs.
its still a very good back 4.
o'nien, cirkin and geertruida as cover for all four positions
Possibly from the women's game? It’s clear that players with long hair have whined about it in the first place for it to become an issue. Where else would it come from? The simple answer would be to tell them “tie it up” but no doubt they haven’t got the balls to do that.
There’s a simple solution if the FA want it. Tell players to tie their hair up, otherwise they’re liable to a good old accidental yank. They won’t do it though. And I’ll let everyone come to their own conclusions as to why that is.Possibly from the women's game?
Its ridiculous that Ballard was sent off in the first place, let alone having to now be suspended for 3 games & miss the rest of the season for "violent conduct". No benefit of the doubt given due to a still/slow image on VAR. I don't think Ballard meant to pull his hair, it just got caught in a tussle, possibly shouldn't even have been given a yellow card.
Its a bit like if someone's elbow accidentally catches someone as part of a natural movement - not a red card. Definite red if its a deliberate elbow to the face though.
It’s not just him. We’ve defended with zero intensity since the Newcastle game. Whether that’s fatigue, complacency or a combination who knows. But none of our defenders covering themselves in glory right now.Guess it's me, Reinaldo after losing possession just seems to meander back. Not running to try to block or tackle, the cross comes from his position far too many times but other SAFC defenders get the blame for the goals.![]()
Long hair isn't necessarily a "cultural thing" as you stated in your original post unless I am misinterpreting it.It’s clear that players with long hair have whined about it in the first place for it to become an issue. So our appeal failed then?Three game suspension is the Law, but as has been said in different contexts ' The law is an ass '.
Long hair is not necessarily a cultural thing but administrative pushback as to how hair should be worn would inevitably then enter into the realms of debates around cultural expression.Long hair isn't necessarily a "cultural thing" as you stated in your original post unless I am misinterpreting it.
That would be my solution, should be legally allowable on the grounds of health & safety, both for the player with the long hair & other players, especially if beads are involved. There’s a simple solution if the FA want it. Yep . As expected unfortunately. So our appeal failed then?
I would have the whole team wearing wigs for the warm up prior to match on Saturday.Yep . As expected unfortunately.

Have we really sunk so far?Long hair is not necessarily a cultural thing but administrative pushback as to how hair should be worn would inevitably then enter into the realms of debates around cultural expression.
Yeah I think we have. There’s a simple solution and they won’t enact it. Why?Have we really sunk so far?
