It’s great to see one of our academy players progressing into the senior team. He’s already made the bench a few times for the first team, which shows how highly he’s rated behind the scenes.
He’s now in open contract discussions with the club about an extension, which is fantastic news. I’ve always rated him and really like him as a player—hopefully we can get it wrapped up.

it will come, i believe. RLB like him. No matter what his age is.
Sunderland would have released him if he is not good enough etc. Why offer him a contract? he is valauble for our team.

He wouldn't play Finn or Abdullahi against Port Vale when we were crying out for them to get on. How many time has a U21 player made an appearance for the first team this season in the league?

Abdullahi often get injured so wouldnt want to risk him
Finn aint ready. I see him play and at times he look not ready even though he scored many for u18/u21.

I think this summer will see where he is.
