RAWA Collective and Ticketing Meetings

The initial release sold out. Then Fulham returned a load which went on sale about a week before.
I was looking throughout the week leading up to the game and was offered nothing. I almost signed up to be a Fulham member to get a ticket in their end because I was getting nothing from SAFC

I think summit needs done to the people who buy away tickets to purposely sell them on to only claim the BCP, i know of someone that solely picks and chooses his games rest he sells on to same person, annoys me as my son is trying build his points up and things like this isn't helping him
Easier said than done i know
You can’t mention this, apparently we have to wait until we’re relegated for our kids to build points.

Also, those that gave me both barrels for even mentioning it, were some of those caught up in the ‘investigation’ - but you can’t mention that either because he’s a nice guy.

A recent ticket office experience:
Bought an additional 2 tickets online for the Chelsea game for relatives. Then informed that they couldn’t make the game.
So went to the ticket office to see if it was possible to cancel the order and get a refund.
Told by the ticket office staff that only a manager could approve it, and there were no managers in that day. Instead, I was told to raise an AskSAFC query,
Surely someone should have delegated authority if all managers are out of the office?

They could have a simple email alert for home fans, away fans or both were thousands of emails are simply sent out stating say…

PLAYERS GUEST RETURNED TICKETS X 30 NOW ON SALE

say, rather than just hearsay on here as tickets randomly appear.

@Becs

@Becs

That would involved the comms team and the ticket office depts working in tandem, we all know they both don’t know their erse from their elbow.

It is all basic stuff but the main areas of concern for me are:

1, Still Putting tickets (home and away) on sale with little/no notice on the website/social media. Just not good enough.
2, Admin fees. Given it is all digital what are we paying for? The service is frankly very poor.
3, T&Cs. If the club are going to start changing rules (especially mid season with ID checks and docking loyalty points for non attendance) then they need to communicate that and have proper T&Cs in place.
4, Proof read emails and comms. The club ones are clearly AI written, often contradictory and give wrong info.
5, Away tickets. If they are considering making changes off the back of one exceptional season then that doesnt sit right with me. They need to take their time and consult fans properly. Not just talk to this mythical ticketing group and those making the most noise who want to go now we are back in the Premier League.

The responses you’ll get are…

1. We have ticketing Tuesday so that’s the day to expect home and away sales to commence. However, resales will only be made available when (if) the club decide premium matchday sales have been maximised (76 yards, etc) - i.e. they don’t want you selling your tickets to the fanbase if they still have their own to sell.

5. Fan groups can offer feedback but the club don’t want them involved in decision-making. That’s the way other clubs operate & SAFC don’t feel they should do any differently. They also believe fans group speak for the whole of the fanbase despite there only actually being a small no of people involved.

I don’t see any of this as being particularly useful to supporters, or anywhere near the approach of a business who purports to put their ‘customers first’ but these are the responses others have already had.

Some interesting changes being applied at Chelsea around ticketing and transferring tickets between fans.

Don't see anything crazy about what Chelsea are doing , the ID thing is the only thing that I bet people will have issues with

@Becs - for the wider (not ticketing meeting) - are they planning to extend the stadium capacity?

No doubt if so there would be an opportunity to extend corporate facilities around the ground, but there is also demand from existing and new generations of Sunderland supporters.

I realise that they may not wish to answer this, it's one that I've forwarded before, but who knows. Thanks.

Must have been a matchday. They don’t work them 🙄
