Canny atmosphere at the Emirates last night

A bit of both but Arsenal fans have always been poor at the Emirates and weren't always great in the final years at Highbury. They have a better selection of songs now, albeit they are very generic.
 
Always felt like they had a bit of class about them, especially when they were at Highbury. Thierry Henry is still my favourite non-Sunderland player ever, and he loves us too.

Mind you, their atmosphere for years was abysmal, though it has picked up in recent years. Got something about them now and I hope they win their final four games.
 
i thought they were the best out of all the 'big' clubs when we were down there. man utd, man city, liverpool, chelsea and spurs were absolutely woeful. for spurs i've never seen so many people make so little noise. even the mags made more than spurs till we put their bait up.
 
Ever since that Arsenal fan did an eye popping screaming celebration on SS years ago (looked like one of the baddies in Home Alone - not DeVito), I feel like lots of Arsenal fans go for that pose and over egg it. Loads of OTT examples last night. Probs trying to compensate for their middle upper class usually reserved nature. Ever since them waving bank notes at us in the away end at Highbury I have had a dislike for them. Hope they lose the final in excruciating circumstances.

Cov fan now posting on all things now they are up :lol: My guess is you will post loads all summer and then your post numbers will sharply drop off throughout the season
 
As ever, it’s was cringe inducing. I saw a clip with Theo Walcott dancing with them and whilst that was only a tiny sample size it is representative of the whole place.

I remember years ago, they announced their team by only mentioning their first names ffs. The whole set up is embarrassing, now you have Arteta on top who you just know would do anything to win, see the Thomas Partey situation which was horrendous.

This. They are beyond cringe. Every single one of them looks like a youtuber or is involved in some kind of fan podcast. They are what AI thinks a good crowd looks like.
 
Honestly if I got this salty watching other football fans enjoy themselves i'd consider packing it in altogether
