The reality in this division is that most counties will look at walking away with a draw against Durham as a result. I doubt any will be even setting targets like 280 in 50 overs with the power in Durhams batting line up.

Justifiable concern may have been expressed but I doubt if he was written off. Likewise there has been justifiable concern regarding Bailey.

Just been going through the scorecard. What a massive improvement in the bowling this match. 140 overs conceding 10 extras with 0 no balls.
